b'NEPEAN CLINICAL SCHOOLThe Nepean Clinical School is a network of teaching hospitals for Sydney University Medical School centred at Nepean Hospital and including Nepean Private and Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital. The school is home to over 20 medical and surgical disciplines, providing a multitude of opportunities for students completing the Doctor of Medicine including Medicine, Surgery, Critical Care, Child and Adolescent Health, Psychological and Addiction Medicine, Perinatal and Womens Health, Community, Elective and Pre-Internships.The School has a current capacity of 150 full-time students and 235 staff consisting of academics, professionals, researchers and affiliates. With its relatively high patient load in comparison to the student population, Nepean Clinical School is able to provide invaluable learning opportunities for attending medical students and research opportunities for Australian and international students.Medical research is a major part of Nepean Clinical Schools activities. Many postgraduate research students undertake higher degree research in the dedicated research laboratories and facilities, under the supervision of leading academics and clinicians.
